Updates: April 20

This site has started to have some shape. If your blog is listed here, please e-mail at least a blog description (250 character or less) to be included in the city listing. It would be best if you could confirm the basic info, but a description would be a good start. Thanks. :-)

Changes:

Each event which takes place over a reasonable multiple-day period now has a "continues" link for each day. If the event is continuing, simply click on the word "continues" and the hyperlink takes the browser to the original post for event details.

May has been transferred to the new database platform.

April 27, 2005
International Administrative Professionals Day
Formerly called "Secretaries' Day."
Annual event occurs on the Wednesday of the last full week in April.

Getting more bloggy

We're officially living in Beaumont, Texas now. It'll still be a few days before the move wears off, and we start serious work.

For being a blog, this one isn't very "blogish" because its primary information is listed in the sidebar. So, to make it more "bloggy," we'll post some individual entries for recently added information and the main information will still go where it belongs (monthly calendars, blog links or other important links).

If nothing else, it should be easier to spot changes and keep this blog looking "frequent" rather than simply stuffing new information into older entries.

Additionally expect to see images of the events shot by Mark. Since most of these shots are actually going to be posted elsewhere, it wouldn't be much more trouble to post them here as well. They are primarily intended as preview images for the following year, but they can be seen as post-event images in the archive as well.

Feel free to comment on these plans if you have a moment.
