Event held in conjunction with the National Boating and Fishing Week. Event features the new Umphrey Family Pavilion, which will serve as a convention center for fishing tournaments and more. All proceeds from the expo go toward maintaining the building, grounds and planned improvements to enhance the public facility.
The Lake Sam Rayburn Pavilion Association partnered with Duke Energy’s Open Crappie Tournament on Saturday, June 11. The Crappie Tournament is a fund-raising event for local charities, including C.A.S.T. for Kids, and is a family event. The tournament features a charity auction at the end of the day.
There will be plenty for everyone to do including exhibits and music throughout the day.
