Leadership Beaumont is a program founded and initiated by the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce and the Junior League of Beaumont.
Each year, about 35 men and women from a wide spectrum of community life are invited to participate in the 9-month program. Participants represent business, labor, government, minority groups, religious organizations, civic groups and a variety of professional fields.
Classmates work in groups of five or more to study problems, challenges, or issues confronting the community. Each small group presents awareness programs and solutions to the entire class throughout the year. Often, the solutions become reality for the community.
