The non-profit organization serves Port Arthur, Nederland, Port Neches and Beaumont. The center is funded by local businesses, churches of all denominations and individuals who want to help the community's needy.
All CC-PO applicants are screened to meet qualifications for assistance. CC-PO works with other agencies and churches assisting people. They are not government funded, so they can minister to the total person, spiritually as well as physically. CC-PO provides 24 hour telephone prayer counseling by volunteers five days a week.
